The University of Auckland’s School of Nursing is globally ranked in the top 50 nursing programmes with a strong research enterprise, now training upwards of 3,000 postgraduate students each year. For many of our students, the costs associated with a nursing degree or postgraduate training can make these unobtainable without the support of a scholarship. Support from alumni and donors ensures that there is equality in the opportunities available. It ensures that students are freed from the financial burdens that can force them out of education or additional training opportunities. The School of Nursing Alumni Fund will establish a resource for our undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students to ensure financial circumstance will not prevent our students becoming nursing leaders of tomorrow.
